Hybrid: 2 days per week in our Tower Bridge office
ZPG
The ZPG group consists of the RVU and Houseful Divisions and includes some of the UK’s most well-recognised, trusted, and innovative digital brands. These brands, including Confused.com, Zoopla and Uswitch, aim to empower consumers to make better property and household-related decisions. Alongside these household names, ZPG is also one of the leading residential property software and data providers with a range of industry-leading products including: Hometrack, Alto, Calcasa, and many others.
ZPG continues to focus on its goal of providing significant value and an ever-improving experience to customers and consumers. This approach, led by its management teams, is in turn supported by private equity investors, Silver Lake and Red Ventures, each of which provides unique expertise in product, technology, and marketing. This, combined with ZPG’s long-term strategic thinking, enables the Group to make investments and other decisions that might not be possible in a public market context.
About the role
We're looking for a qualified Group Accountant to join ZPG on a 15 month fixed term contract. Sitting within the group finance function, you'll act as the primary liaison with finance teams across Zoopla, RVU, ASG and Hometrack, ensuring management packs are received on time and the group consolidation is complete and accurate.
You'll own the Group entities' month end reporting, including journals and balance sheet reconciliations, and will play a central role in compiling commentary for the monthly management pack, shared with the investor group and C-suite. The role also covers tax and treasury responsibilities, including quarterly VAT returns, PSA calculations and interest payment reconciliations, alongside support with statutory accounts preparation and audit queries.
This is a great opportunity for a qualified accountant with strong technical accounting knowledge to join a fast paced, multi-entity environment, and to make use of AI tools such as Claude to improve efficiency across journal creation, reconciliations and reporting.
