We’re looking for an experienced Front of House team member to join us at Friend of Mine in Bridge of Allan. We’re an independent neighbourhood restaurant serving brunch, lunch and dinner, with a focus on great food and drinks alongside relaxed, knowledgeable and attentive service. We’re looking for someone with solid restaurant or hospitality experience who is confident running a busy service and wants to take on more responsibility. For the right person, there is a genuine opportunity to progress into an Assistant Manager role. The role You’ll be involved in all aspects of our front of house operation, including: - Delivering consistently excellent service - Helping to run busy services smoothly - Building great relationships with our guests - Developing your knowledge of our food, wine and drinks - Supporting and working closely with the wider FOH and kitchen teams - Helping maintain high standards throughout the restaurant - Taking on additional responsibility as you develop within the role
About you
We’re looking for someone who: - Has good previous restaurant or hospitality experience - Is confident working in a busy environment - Is friendly, organised and reliable - Genuinely enjoys looking after guests - Has an interest in food, wine and drinks - Communicates well and works positively as part of a team - Is keen to learn, develop and progress Previous supervisory or management experience would be welcome, but isn’t essential. We’re equally interested in experienced FOH people who are ready to develop towards their first management role.
