Fire Door Production Operator

Due to expansion at our new factory, we are currently recruiting Fire Door Production Operatives to join our manufacturing team.
Responsibilities:
- Working as part of a production and assembly line manufacturing timber fire doors
- Operating and training on a range of machinery, including beam saws, edge banders, hot presses (laminators), sanding machines, and potentially CNC equipment
- Carrying out self-inspection of finished products to ensure quality standards are met
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working environment at all times
- Working efficiently to meet production deadlines while following health and safety procedures
About You:
- Well organised with strong attention to detail
- Reliable, with excellent timekeeping and attendance
- A strong work ethic and commitment to high standards or workmanship
- Ability to work safely as part of a team
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or woodworking role is beneficial but not essential, as full training will be provided
Location: Factory based in Basildon
Duration: Full Time PAYE
Salary: £26,500 -28,500 DOE
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:30 - 4:30/9:00am - 6:00pm
