We are looking for an enthusiastic and reliable outreach worker/mentor to support a 12 year old boy in Whitley Bay
Hours:
6 hours per week (Saturday or Sunday afternoon/evening -flexible)
These hours are susceptible to change and could be increased.
This will be discussed at interview.
This young person enjoys gaming, YouTube, animals, sci- fi movies and creative activities.
We are looking for someone who can join in and be able to chat about the young person’s interests and be:
Friendly and engaging with the ability to build rapport and encourage participation
Comfortable around dogs – Our friendly dog loves to be part of everything!
A car driver
Experience of working with children with ASD / ADHD / OCD is required.
The successful candidate will be subject to an Enhanced DBS, the cost of which will be met by the employer.
