JDental Nurse / Treatment Coordinator (GDC Registered)Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated, enthusiastic, and professional GDC Registered Dental Nurse / Treatment Coordinator to join our friendly and reputable dental practice.

The successful candidate will provide high-quality chairside nursing support, coordinate patient treatment plans, and help deliver an outstanding patient experience in a supportive, modern practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety at all times.
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilise instruments in accordance with infection control protocols.
- Provide excellent patient care before, during, and after treatment.
- Explain treatment plans, answer patient queries, and provide post-operative instructions.
- Coordinate appointments, treatment plans, and follow-up visits to ensure a seamless patient journey.
- Take intraoral scans and clinical photographs, or be willing to learn these skills through training.
- Ideally take dental radiographs (radiography qualification preferred).
- Maintain accurate patient records using the practice management software.
- Support patients throughout their treatment by offering reassurance and exceptional customer service.
- Maintain a clean, organised clinical environment and adhere to all health and safety standards.
- Work closely with the clinical and reception teams to ensure the smooth running of the practice.
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
- GDC registration as a Dental Nurse (essential).
- A friendly, caring, and professional manner.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Previous experience in a dental practice or healthcare setting.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Good IT skills and confidence using dental practice management software.
- Experience taking intraoral scans and clinical photographs, or a willingness to learn.
- Ideally hold a dental radiography qualification and be confident taking dental X-rays.
- A positive attitude and the ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
- A commitment to providing outstanding patient care and maintaining high clinical standards.
