Job Title: Bakery Assistant
Job Purpose:
To support the daily production of quality bakery products while maintaining high standards of hygiene, safety, and cleanliness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with preparing, shaping, baking, cooling, slicing, and packaging bread and bakery products.
- Measure and prepare ingredients according to recipes.
- Operate bakery equipment safely after training.
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas, equipment, and storage areas.
- Follow HACCP, food safety, and hygiene procedures.
- Check product quality and report any issues to the bakery manager.
- Store ingredients correctly and maintain stock levels.
- Support the bakery team to meet daily production targets.
Requirements:
- Good attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Good hygiene awareness.
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
- Previous bakery or food production experience is an advantage.
Pay: £12.71 per hour
