Indoor Climbing Instructor
Jurassic Ridge, Bridport
Job Summary:
We are seeking a passionate and experienced climbing instructor to join our growing and enthusiastic team at Jurassic Ridge in Bridport. As an instructor, you will be responsible for the climbers under your care and will be supervising them safely. We will require you to check and maintain the equipment, deliver experience sessions to new climbers, run youth groups and clubs and teach courses. You will also need to have upmost attention to safety and detail.
Duties:
- Deliver engaging lessons and training sessions
- Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment
- Adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of individual students
- Collaborate with other instructors and staff members
- Maintain the cleanliness of the wall and facilities
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all students
Experience and Traits:
- Previous experience as an instructor
- Strong knowledge and/or interest in climbing
- Excellent communication skills with the team, children and groups
- Patience and the ability to work with students of different ages and skill levels
- Ability to motivate and inspire those around you
Qualifications:
- CWI qualification or higher
- In date First Aid Certificate
Candidates must be aged 18+.
