Kingswood Medical Centre has an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated Salaried GP to join our friendly and supportive team for 4 to 6 sessions per week. We are flexible on start dates and are focused on finding the right person who shares our values and commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centred care.
We are looking for a GP who is approachable, adaptable, and enjoys working collaboratively with colleagues to provide outstanding care for our patients while contributing to the continued success and development of the practice.
At Kingswood, we believe that delivering excellent patient care starts with supporting the wellbeing of our team. We have created an environment where GPs are encouraged to focus on providing high-quality clinical care while maintaining a healthy work-life balance.
We operate a well-established total triage model.
Previous experience of working in a total triage practice would be advantageous, but it is not essential, as full support and induction will be provided. As part of the role, one day a week will be dedicated to the duty doctor rota, managing same-day clinical demand and providing support for urgent patient care within our experienced clinical team.
All applicants should have the following:
- Fully qualified GP with GMC registration, with at least 2 years post CCT
- Included on the NHSE Medical Performers List
- Up-to-date annual appraisal and revalidation (where applicable)
And have the following attributes and skills:
- Passionate about delivering excellent patient care
- A team player who enjoys collaborative working
- Innovative and adaptable within modern general practice
- Committed to continuous professional development
- Keen to contribute to the future direction of the practice
Kingswood Medical Centre is a thriving GP practice based in purpose-built premises in Basildon. We are committed to providing compassionate, patient-centred care in a friendly, supportive, and collaborative working environment.
We operate a total triage model and are a GMS, non-dispensing training practice, caring for approximately 10,500 patients, with a steadily growing list size. We are proud of the high standard of care we provide and are rated Good by the CQC. We consistently achieve excellent QOF outcomes and are committed to continuous quality improvement.
