Are you an experienced Counterbalance Forklift Driver looking for a long-term opportunity with the potential to secure a permanent position?
We're recruiting on behalf of a busy food manufacturing company in Crewe for a Counterbalance (B1) FLT Driver to join their night shift warehouse team.
The Role
You'll play a key part in ensuring the smooth movement of stock throughout the warehouse, supporting production and dispatch while maintaining a safe and efficient working environment.
Duties Include:
- Operating a Counterbalance (B1) Forklift Truck safely and efficiently.
- Loading and unloading vehicles.
- Transporting stock between warehouse and production areas.
- Stacking and storing goods in designated locations.
- Assisting with stock movements and replenishment.
- Carrying out general warehouse duties when required.
- Following all health & safety procedures and maintaining high housekeeping standards.
What We're Looking For
- A valid, in-date Counterbalance (B1) Forklift licence is essential.
- You have to have a UK Driving Licence.
- Previous experience operating a Counterbalance FLT in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
- A good understanding of warehouse health & safety.
- Reliable, hardworking and able to work independently.
- Strong attention to detail and a positive attitude.
