Role Overview
This role is responsible for the day-to-day management of all transport and logistics operations within the UK and internationally. You will oversee fleet compliance, routing, and scheduling, while ensuring all customs processes are handled accurately and efficiently.
The role requires a CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) holder who can take ownership of operator licence compliance, manage drivers and vehicles, and ensure all movements meet legal and operational requirements. You will work closely with project managers, warehouse teams, and international offices to ensure seamless logistics of equipment to and from sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily transport planning, scheduling, and routing of vehicles
- Manage and maintain the company fleet, ensuring compliance with all legal and safety requirements
- Act as the nominated CPC holder, maintaining Operator Licence standards and obligations
- Manage driver compliance including hours, tachographs, and working time regulations
- Coordinate international shipments in tandem with the assets team, including carnets, customs clearance, and freight forwarding
- Ensure all customs documentation is accurate and completed in line with current regulations
- Liaise with freight agents, hauliers, and customs brokers to ensure smooth global movements
- Monitor transport costs and identify efficiencies across routes and logistics planning
- Work closely with warehouse and project teams to align transport with operational needs
- Maintain records, reporting, and compliance documentation for audits and inspections
- Troubleshoot logistics issues in real time, ensuring minimal disruption to projects
Skills & Experience
- Valid CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence)
- Proven experience in transport management within logistics, production, or live events
- Strong knowledge of UK and international transport regulations
- Experience with customs processes, carnets, and international freight movements
- Good understanding of fleet management and vehicle compliance requirements
- Confident using logistics systems and transport planning tools
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Clear and effective communication across departments and external partners

Pay: £40,000.00-£50,000.00 per year
