Warehouse Manager
We currently have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Warehouse Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the warehouse operation, ensuring the safe receipt, storage and distribution of goods whilst maintaining high standards of efficiency, customer service and compliance. A proactive approach, strong leadership skills and the ability to manage teams effectively are essential for success in this role.
We are looking for applicants who have:
- Previous warehouse management experience
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication and people skills
- Good organisational and problem-solving abilities
- The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- A good understanding of warehouse operations and Health & Safety requirements
Responsibilities of the role:
- Manage the day-to-day warehouse operation, ensuring efficient receipt, storage and dispatch of goods
- Lead, motivate and develop warehouse teams to achieve operational targets
- Ensure stock accuracy and maintain the security and integrity of warehouse products
- Monitor warehouse performance and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce costs
- Ensure compliance with Health & Safety, food safety and company procedures at all times
- Support recruitment, training and performance management of warehouse employees
