Summary
We are seeking a Kitchen Porter to join our new South Indian restaurant in Aberdeen. This role is essential for maintaining the kitchen's cleanliness and supporting our culinary team in delivering high-quality dishes. Your contributions will help us create memorable dining experiences for our guests.
Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area.
- Assist chefs with food preparation tasks as needed.
- Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment efficiently.
- Ensure all food safety and hygiene standards are adhered to.
- Help with stock management and inventory control.
- Support the kitchen team during busy service periods.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant environment is preferred.
- Strong understanding of food hygiene practices.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
- Willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities.
