We are seeking an experienced, capable and highly organised Dental Practice Manager to join our growing group of practices across Surrey and Sussex.
Depending on the successful candidate’s experience and strengths, the position may involve managing a single practice or taking responsibility for multiple practices. This is an excellent opportunity for an established dental manager who enjoys developing teams, improving systems and maintaining consistently high standards of patient care and practice performance.

Key responsibilities
The role will include:
- Managing the day-to-day operation of the practice or practices
- Leading, supporting and developing the reception, nursing and administrative teams
- Overseeing staff rotas, attendance, performance and training
- Supporting recruitment, induction and ongoing team development
- Ensuring excellent standards of patient care and customer service
- Managing complaints promptly, professionally and constructively
- Monitoring diaries, clinician utilisation and practice capacity
- Supporting the achievement of practice performance and growth objectives
- Developing and maintaining effective administrative and operational systems
- Ensuring policies, procedures and clinical governance requirements are followed
- Maintaining compliance with CQC, GDC, health and safety, infection-control and other relevant regulatory requirements
- Working closely with clinicians, practice owners and external providers
- Monitoring key performance indicators and producing clear management reports
- Helping to create a positive, accountable and supportive workplace culture
- Where applicable, maintaining consistency and effective communication across multiple sites
Essential requirements
- Previous dental practice management experience
- A sound understanding of dental practice operations and compliance
- Proven experience of managing and developing a team
- Strong organisational, communication and problem-solving skills
- Confidence using dental practice-management software and other digital systems
- The ability to travel between practices in Surrey and Sussex if appointed to a multi-site position
Experience of managing more than one practice, supporting a growing dental group or working within both NHS and private dentistry would be advantageous.
