Job Summary:
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Driver Carers to deliver safe, high-quality, person-centred care to individuals in their own homes and community settings. Candidates must have experience in elderly care and complex care. The role involves supporting service users with daily living, promoting dignity, independence, wellbeing and choice, and working in line with care plans, risk assessments, safeguarding requirements and professional standards.
Key Duties:
- Provide person-centred care and support in line with individual care plans.
- Assist with personal care including bathing, dressing, grooming and toileting.
- Support with mobility, moving and handling, and safe transfers where required.
- Provide medication support/administration in line with policy and procedures.
- Prepare meals, encourage hydration, and support nutrition needs.
- Provide companionship, emotional reassurance and support with community access or appointments.
- Carry out light household duties to maintain a safe, clean environment.
- Observe, record and report changes in health, behaviour or wellbeing appropriately.
- Support people living with dementia, elderly care needs and complex care needs.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in elderly care and complex care is essential.
- Understanding of safeguarding, dignity, person-centred care, infection prevention and health & safety.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work professionally with clients, families and colleagues.
- Valid driving licence required — car or bike.
- First aid knowledge desirable or willingness to undertake training.
- Compassionate, reliable and committed to delivering high standards of care.

Pay: £12.71-£15.00 per hour
