Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Tamil Male Carer to provide high-quality support to individuals in care home and home care settings. Duties
- Assist clients with daily activities such as personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility, ensuring their comfort and dignity at all times
- Develop and implement personalised care plans in collaboration with healthcare professionals and family members
- Support clients with medication management as prescribed, maintaining accurate records
- Drive clients to appointments, social activities, or outings as required, ensuring safe transportation
- Maintain clear and effective communication with clients, their families, and team members regarding care needs and progress
- Monitor and report on clients’ health status, noting any changes or concerns promptly
- Assist with household tasks such as light cleaning, meal preparation, and shopping to promote independence
- Utilise IT systems to update care records accurately and efficiently
Requirements
- Valid driving licence with clean driving record is essential for transportation duties
- Experience working within a care home or providing home care is highly desirable
- Knowledge of developing and following care plans tailored to individual needs
- Fluency in English, with excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Proficiency in IT systems for documentation and reporting purposes
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trusting relationships with clients
- Respectful attitude towards clients’ privacy, dignity, and cultural differences
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Tamil Speaking
