Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Retail Manager to lead our store operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong management skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise the retail team to achieve sales targets and deliver outstanding customer service
- Manage day-to-day store operations, including stock management, visual merchandising, and administrative tasks
- Develop and implement sales strategies to maximise revenue and optimise store performance
- Train, motivate, and evaluate staff to ensure high levels of engagement and productivity
- Oversee inventory control, ordering, and stock replenishment processes
- Maintain excellent phone etiquette when dealing with customers, suppliers, and team members
- Organise staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage during operating hours
- Monitor store compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies
- Analyse sales data to identify trends and opportunities for growth
- Foster a welcoming environment that encourages repeat business and customer loyalty
Skills
- Proven management experience of at least three years within retail environments with supervising or team management responsibilities
- Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and develop staff effectively
- Excellent communication skills in both written and verbal forms; multilingual or bilingual abilities are advantageous
- Sound organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting
- Proficient in merchandising techniques to enhance product presentation and optimise sales opportunities
- Good time management skills to ensure all responsibilities are completed within deadlines
- Administrative experience related to stock control, reporting, and general store documentation
- Exceptional organisational skills coupled with attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously while maintaining a professional demeanour
