The Role & Responsibilities
- Multisite Clinical Assessment: Conduct assessments and therapy sessions across local Manchester schools, client homes, our central Manchester clinic, and occasionally further afield as required (travel expenses reimbursed).
- EHCPs & Report Writing: Complete thorough clinical documentation, including formal assessment reports and detailed contributions towards Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs).
- Equipment & Environmental Work: Carry out environmental assessments and prescribe/recommend aids, adaptations, and specialist equipment.
- Autonomous Caseload & Mentorship: Manage your clinical caseload independently while supporting and supervising junior OTs and OT assistants.
- Team & Content Participation: Get involved with generating fun staff content (socials, team features, and clinical insights) and shaping our vibrant company culture.
What We’re Looking For
- Qualifications: Recognised Occupational Therapy degree/diploma with active HCPC registration. (Please note: this is a clinical role, so please only apply if you are a fully qualified Occupational Therapist.)
- Clinical Background: Strong, demonstrable experience supporting sensory processing difficulties and motor skills development in children and young people.
- Core Skills: Solid background in aids, adaptations, equipment, and environmental assessments, along with excellent report-writing capabilities and the ability to manage a caseload autonomously.
- Clearances & Mobility: Enhanced DBS check required (if a new one is needed, we can apply on your behalf at the applicant's cost). Full UK driving licence and access to a car are essential. RCOT membership also required, or alternative indemnity insurance.
