About the Role
- Support the onsite cook at Little Rainbows with preparing healthy meals daily
- Ensure food is prepared safely, following hygiene standards and dietary requirements
- Work closely with the nursery team to provide nutritious meals that children enjoy
- Transport hot food from one nursery to Little Wishes (short ten-minute drive)
- 30 Hours per week
- Supporting our practices with lunch cover
- Washing up, light cleaning and preparing healthy snacks and light teas.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in cooking for groups of children or similar settings is ideal
- Knowledge of food hygiene and safety standards (training provided if needed)
- Reliability, attention to detail, and ability to follow procedures
- A friendly, professional attitude and good communication skills
- Ability to work as part of a team and contribute to a positive environment

Eligibility & Safeguarding Requirements

- Be 17 or older (Ofsted requirement)
- Live in the UK
- Hold valid Right to Work in the UK
