We are seeking a fully experienced Secretary to work in a busy private client department covering conveyancing and wills/probate.
Your duties will include assisting with the full conveyancing process, from when the client instructs through to post completion stage.
Duties include audio dictation, instigating searches through our online portal, Land Registry forms, use of the Land Registry portal, correspondence, file notes, organising meetings, diary management, liaising with clients, assisting with completions, liaising with other solicitors, estate agents, mortgage lenders etc.
A good knowledge of all aspects of Residential Conveyancing work with the ability to manage a challenging and varied caseload of property work accurately.
Ideally knowledge in preparing Wills Lasting Powers of Attorneys and assisting the probate solicitor.
Excellent ICT skills and the ability to demonstrate or gain a clear understanding of the firm’s in-house case management systems.
Good organisational skills, a proactive approach, as well as the ability to prioritise and work to strict deadlines.

Essential requirements - conveyancing / wills and probate experience
