We are currently recruiting for an experienced CNC Plasma Cutter Operator to join a busy and growing manufacturing business based in Kidderminster. This is an excellent long-term opportunity offering competitive pay, regular overtime and immediate starts.

Overtime paid at 1.3x, 1.5x and 2x your hourly rate.
The Role
As a CNC Plasma Cutter Operator, you will be responsible for producing high-quality components to specification while maintaining efficiency and accuracy.
Your duties will include:

Setting up and operating CNC plasma cutting machines.

Loading and unloading steel plate and materials safely.

Reading and interpreting engineering drawings.

Selecting the correct cutting programmes and making minor adjustments where required.

Inspecting finished components to ensure they meet quality standards.

Carrying out routine machine checks and basic maintenance.

Working closely with the fabrication team to meet production schedules.

Maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
Requirements

Previous experience operating CNC plasma cutting machines.

Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.

Experience working within a steel fabrication or manufacturing environment.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Good understanding of health and safety procedures.

Reliable, motivated and able to work independently or as part of a team.
