Job Summary - Home Instead Richmond
The role of Field Care Supervisor is to ensure that our clients and their needs, receive the highest quality care at all times.
This role is suitable for someone wanting to responsibility to ensuring our domiciliary clients are receiving the highest quality care, from the most suitable care professionals, by making sure care plans are up to date and the service we are providing meets the expectations of our clients, the CQC and Home Instead's franchise standards.
We are a family-owned group whom neighbours with three other Home Instead franchises: Epsom & Mole Valley, Sutton and Wimbledon & Kingston. Under this we also connected with our Live In department which operates across all four offices. Each of our offices have their CQC registration, and each has been rated as Outstanding by CQC.

We have many domiciliary care clients, and it is growing quickly. Our office is among the most successful in the Home Instead UK network. We have achieved this through high-quality service and attention to the need of our clients.
The role:
- Completing service reviews and quality assurance checks with clients and making sure these are actioned accordingly.
- Maintaining accurate client records on our softwares (ACP, People Planner and CareCo Pilot) and excel spreadsheets. Marking sure that care plans, needs assessments and care schedules are up to date.
- Audit care schedules, activity logs, eMARs on a regular basis alongside our auditor who assists.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with new and existing clients, their families and other professionals involved in their care.
- Maintaining regular contact with clients, to ensure their safety and wellbeing.
- Assist with introductions for care packages, when needed.
- To assess and train care professionals for their clients needs.

- Proactive - the ability to plan ahead and prepared to manage challenges that may arise
- Drive to delivering the highest quality of service to our clients to help them live independently and happily in their own homes
- Computer literate with experience of Microsoft Office, Excel and virtual communication platforms. With the aptitude to learn and adopt new technologies and software, where appropriate.
- High levels of initiative and problem solving - 70% of the job is problem solving.
- Have knowledge of CQC regulations in social adult care.

Experience:
- Providing care: 1 year (essential)
- Driving licence (essential)
- Supervisory: 1 year (preferred)
- NVQ level 2 Health & Social Care (preferred)
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday 9am to 1700pm
Work location: Office based New Malden + mobile (two days on the field visiting clients)
