Job Title: Night Shunter/Cleaner

Salary: £14 per hour

J&B Travel are pleased to offer an exciting opportunity for a Night Shunter/Cleaner to join our Operations team. Based out of our Pudsey Depot you will be a vital part of the team ensuring our fleet is ready for service every single day. If you are motivated, proactive, and keen to take on a role that directly contributes to the success of our daily operations, we would be delighted to hear from you.
Your role will include:
- Responsible for topping up oil, AdBlue, and window washer fluid on the Coaches.
- Checking exterior vehicle lights and replacing bulbs as necessary.
- Cleaning vehicle exteriors using the wash machine or hand tools, and performing interior cleaning, including sweeping, dusting cab/dash areas, and removing litter.
- Safely parking vehicles in designated spaces to ensure efficient morning run-outs.
- Maintaining depot cleanliness, including clearing the yard and fuel island areas.
- Carrying out deep or mini cleans as requested.
About you:
- PCV license or experience driving large vehicles is essential.
- A proactive and motivated approach to operational tasks.
Working Hours:
- Core hours are generally Wednesday – Sunday 9.00pm – 3.00am
PCV License is essential for this role.
Tacho card an advantage.
Pay: £14.00-£14.50 per hour
