Domiciliary Care Assistant - Permanent Zero-Hours Contract

We are currently looking for compassionate, reliable, and committed Care Assistants to join our growing domiciliary care team.
We provide one-to-one support to children and young adults in their own homes and within the community. Continuity of care is extremely important to us, which is why we are looking for carers who want to build positive, long-term relationships with the people they support.

Expected Hours
- Flexible hours available (approximately 10-30 hours per week)
- Hours may include weekdays, evenings, and weekends
Main Responsibilities
- Providing personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Supporting clients with daily living activities, including meal preparation and medication reminders where required
- Assisting with light household tasks
- Supporting clients within their home and the local community
- Promoting independence while respecting each client’s dignity, preferences, routines, and individual choices
- Following individual care plans and ensuring each client’s specific needs are met effectively
- Building positive and trusting relationships with clients and their families
- Completing electronic care records and documenting visits accurately and promptly using our digital care system
- Working closely with the wider care team to ensure a high standard of care is maintained
Skills and Experience
- Previous experience in domiciliary care or a care home setting is desirable but not essential
- Excellent communication skills in English
- The ability to follow detailed care plans and adapt to changing client needs
- Basic IT skills for completing electronic documentation accurately
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
