Overview
We are seeking two dedicated Warehouse Operative to join our Europe Snacks team. This role involves supporting the efficient handling, storage, and movement of goods within a busy warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong organisational skills and experience in warehouse operations including a Reach Truck and Counterbalance Licence . This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills within a professional setting, contributing to the smooth flow of materials and products. Candidates should be prepared for physically demanding tasks and adhere to health and safety and Food standards at all times.
Duties
- Work with the warehouse on maintaining and balancing general inventory
- Ensure all stock movements are carried out to the correct procedure and the systems are updated correctly.
- Ensure that stocks are receipted correctly, at the right time and ensure that stock life is monitored, and issues reported.
- Provide relevant data on stock usage, stock levels and stock life as required.
- Assist with stock take activities and carry out checks when required.
- Oversee the receipt, co-ordination and safety of goods moving through the factory production lines and warehouses
- Anticipating delivery shortages and taking action to mitigate production issues
- Investigating variances against physical count of inventory
- Ensure that all goods and services are stored securely and safely in conditions appropriate for the raw material/finished product
- Ensure compliance with Health and Safety policies
- Carry out a regular cycle of production/ warehouses cleaning and inspection to ensure hygiene standards are maintained to the highest level possible with compliance with legislative requirements at all time
- To have a hands-on approach.
- Maintain a high standard of housekeeping, personal and product safety, hygiene efficiency and discipline in the areas under his/her control
- Maintain a high standard of safety and efficiency in the operation of forklift trucks under his/her control
- Ensure all work is to be carried out in a manner that will ensure the legality, safety, and quality of Europe snacks, services, and systems
- Operating forklifts and other warehouse machinery safely and effectively

- Inventory Management experience within a FMCG Manufacturing and Production environment
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Experience using forklifts and other warehouse equipment
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to work on a tactical and strategic level
- The ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Planning and organizing skills to effectively manage the flow of stock
- To demonstrate a full working knowledge of the WMS stock systems.

- Forklift Driver Licence

Hours of work
1x PM Shift 14:00 - 22:00hrs
1x Night Shift 22:00 - 06:00hrs
