At Quick Fit Services, we are a family run garage established in 1975 and provide an excellent service to all. We are currently seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician to join our team. As a Vehicle Technician, you will be responsible for conducting vehicle inspections to ensure they meet the required safety and environmental standards. This is a vital role in ensuring the safety of our customers and their vehicles.
Duties:
- Conduct thorough inspections of vehicle components and systems, including brakes, suspension, exhaust, and emissions
- Identify and report any defects or issues that may affect the vehicle's safety or compliance with regulations
- Complete all necessary paperwork and documentation accurately and in a timely manner
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining test results and any necessary repairs or maintenance
- Carrying our servicing and repairs to a variety of vehicles
Essential requirements:
- Experience within the Motor Industry
- Experience with computer diagnostics
- Proficient in using hand tools and power tools
- Full Clean UK driving licence
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow guidelines and procedures
- Good communication skills
