Formed in 2014, Light Up Love® are a wedding and events hire business based in the Hertford area. We specialise in trend-led large statement decor hire pieces, bringing a fresh and edgy vibe to parties, weddings and corporate events. We pride ourselves on our personal service.
We cover Hertfordshire and surrounding counties including London.
We specialise in hiring out light up letters, backdrops such as flower and sequin walls, larger table and venue décor items and other props for weddings and events.
We are looking for reliable and enthusiastic drivers with their own van to join our team.
We have various shifts available mostly Saturday and Sunday shifts including early mornings and some late nights with the occasional Friday or Monday. Work available most weekends but not guaranteed. This could work well for someone looking to supplement another income. We are looking to bring on board multiple candidates and are happy to consider a couple/friends working together as often our setups can require more than one person.
The job would involve loading equipment from our storage unit, driving to a venue or home residence and installing then packing down the items at the end of the night or next day and returning them to our unit.
- You will need your own van.
- Candidates will need to be based within close travelling distance of our unit in Hertford. Ideally 15mins max from Hertford.
- Punctual, reliable and committed staff required – all our events have scheduled setup & collection times and we do not let couples down on their wedding day.
- Full training will be given on our products; but some basic electrical skills such as changing a fuse or plug would be useful.
- Physical ability to lift and carry equipment making sure it arrives in pristine condition.
- Presentable and enjoy meeting people - customer service with a smile, you’ll often be meeting venue managers, wedding planners, clients and other suppliers as the face of our business.
- Have a keen eye for detail and creative flair in order to maintain our high standards both visually and from a safety point of view.
- Be familiar with taking photos and video content on mobile phone for use on web and socials.
- Clean Driver’s License (3+ years experience) with your own van in good working order. Fuel allowance provided.
- Be willing to work weekends including some early starts/late finishes.
