We partner with some of the world’s most iconic fashion houses, including Jimmy Choo, Burberry, Celine, and Bulgari, and operate in prestigious locations such as Selfridges Oxford Street.
Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Concession Supervisor to oversee the operations of our pop-up concession with in Selfridges Birmingham (pop-up for 3 months however there is a possibility of an extension). The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a background in retail, ensuring that our team delivers exceptional service and strong sales. This role requires a hands-on approach to managing daily operations, supervising staff and managing our circular fashion offering.
This is an on-site position based at our Selfridges concession pop-up. The contract runs from early October through December, with a possibility of extension.
THE HANDBAG CLINIC - OUR PURPOSE
To prolong the life cycle of all handbags lovingly and expertly. In doing so, we nurture sustainability, whilst proudly acting as a gatekeeper and guard on the luxury handbag market.
We buy, sell, and restore designer handbags, restoring over 700 bags each month including some of the most expensive handbags in the world, alongside buying and selling over £6M of designer handbags across our stores and eCommerce website since launching the service in 2016.
Working with some of the leading fashion houses and prestigious auction houses as well as being recommended by Vouge, Tatler, Cosmopolitan, Vanity Fair and Grazia.
We will provide full training in our unique offering, pre loved fashion, cleaning and repair services along with our one of a kind Buy Back scheme. As our relationship with Selfridges continues to grow there could be an opportunity to support on regional pop up and personal shopping events.
Responsibilities
- Manage the daily operations of the concession stand, ensuring efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Managing the logistics of items in and out of store
- Supervise and train staff, fostering a positive team environment and promoting excellent service standards.
- Collaborate with our head office team on inventory and after sales
- Build a strong client base in Birmingham
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally, striving for resolution and satisfaction.
- Support the Concession Manager with Rota's, Reporting, General Management and Regional Events.
Skills
- Proven experience in retail management or a related field, with a strong understanding of food service operations.
- Knowledge of department stores operations is preferable but not required.
- Excellent supervisory skills with the ability to lead a diverse team effectively.
- Familiarity with pre loved designer items or aftercare is preferred but not required.
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of service.
- Leadership qualities that inspire teamwork and motivate staff to achieve their best performance.
