Location: West Byfleet
Salary: £12.75 per hour
Hours: 3 days per week, over a two week shift pattern.
Week 1 : Monday, Saturday & Sunday - 08:30 AM - 04:20 PM
Week 2: Tuesday, Wednesday & Friday - 08:30 AM - 04:20 PM
Join Our Friendly Care Home Team
CHD Living is looking for a warm, professional, and organised Receptionist to join our care home team in West Byfleet. As the first point of contact for residents, families, visitors, and professionals, you will play an important role in creating a welcoming and supportive environment.
Experience within a care setting would be beneficial, but it is not essential — we are looking for someone with excellent people skills, strong organisation, and a positive attitude.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both face-to-face and over the telephone
- Strong organisational and administrative abilities
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Good IT skills, including confidence using Microsoft Office
- The ability to work efficiently and remain calm in a busy environment
Key Responsibilities
Your duties will include:
- Welcoming all visitors in a friendly and professional manner
- Maintaining a clean, pleasant, and welcoming reception area
- Ensuring show rooms are presented to a high standard and bedrooms are prepared for admissions
- Answering telephone calls and handling enquiries efficiently and appropriately
- Maintaining accurate records and supporting effective follow-up processes
- Assisting management with administrative tasks including arranging appointments, booking transport, typing, photocopying, emailing, and filing documentation
- Processing incoming and outgoing post
