Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Dessert Maker to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and a keen eye for detail, ensuring that each dessert is not only delicious but also visually appealing. As a Dessert maker/ Barista, you will play a vital role in creating an array of sweet treats that delight our customers and enhance their dining experience and excellent coffee.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and create a variety of desserts, including cakes, pastries, and confections, following established recipes and presentation standards.
- Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene throughout the dessert-making process.
- Assist in the development of new dessert recipes and menu items to keep offerings fresh and exciting.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of desserts during service hours.
- Upsell dessert items to guests, enhancing their dining experience while contributing to overall sales.
- Manage inventory of ingredients and supplies, ensuring all items are fresh and properly stored.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Demonstrate effective time management skills to ensure all desserts are prepared efficiently within service timelines.

- Strong culinary skills with a focus on dessert preparation.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in the kitchen environment.
- Experience in upselling techniques within a restaurant or food service setting is advantageous.
