Multi-Client Accounts Assistant / Bookkeeper

Key Responsibilities
- Purchase ledger, supplier statement, and bank reconciliations
- Preparing monthly payment runs across several client accounts
- Posting payroll and wage journals
- Supporting the production of monthly management accounts (P&L, balance sheet)
- Preparing and submitting VAT returns
- Assisting in the creation of custom financial reports as required
What We’re Looking For
- 3+ years’ accounts / bookkeeping experience, ideally in a multi-client or accountancy practice setting
- Excellent working knowledge of accounting systems and finance processes
- Strong Excel skills; experience with Microsoft Dynamics is a bonus
- Great communication skills — able to build strong client relationships
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines
- Organised, accurate, and proactive

Schedule
- Monday to Friday (hours can be flexible)
- Day shift (no weekends)
- Office-based role with potential for Hybrid Working upon review
Location

- Must be able to reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting
Experience
- Bookkeeping: 5 years (required)
- Accounting / Accounts Assistant duties: 3 years (preferred)
