We're looking for a motivated and customer-focused Internal Sales / Counter Sales Assistant to join our team in Redruth.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with sales experience, strong product knowledge, and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service within a busy builders' merchant environment.
Serving trade and retail customers at the counter and over the phone
Proactively identifying sales opportunities and helping customers find the right products
Building and maintaining strong customer relationships
Preparing quotations and following up on sales enquiries
Processing customer orders accurately and efficiently
Providing product advice and recommending suitable solutions
Supporting stock control and general branch operations
Working closely with colleagues to maximise sales and customer satisfaction
Maintaining a safe, tidy, and professional branch environment
Previous experience within a builders' merchant, trade counter, or internal sales role preferred
Strong sales and customer service skills
Plumbing and heating product knowledge desirable
Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
Confidence using computer systems (full training provided)
Positive, proactive, and team-focused attitude
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Reliable, organised, and results-driven approach
Monday to Friday, 8:00am 5:00pm
