Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging, hands-on practical and theoretical lessons across Food Technology, Textiles, and Graphic Design (KS3 & KS4).
- Maintain high standards of workshop and classroom safety, ensuring all machinery and equipment are used properly.
- Implement robust, effective behaviour management strategies to create a focused and respectful learning environment.
- Inspire students to explore design, innovation, and practical problem-solving.
What We Are Looking For:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), QTLS, or equivalent secondary teaching qualification.
- Proven ability to teach across multiple D&T disciplines, specifically Food Tech, Textiles, and Graphic Design.
- Strong, assertive behaviour management skills with the ability to maintain firm boundaries and high expectations in practical settings.
- Open to both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs) with strong subject confidence.
