As an EHCP Assistant Practitioner, you will provide essential administrative and casework support within the Statutory SEND Service. Your role will ensure that statutory processes are followed efficiently, helping to create a brighter future for children and young people with SEND.
In this role, you will:

Maintain clear, accurate, and organised case records in line with council policies and data protection laws.

Support the Statutory SEND Service in meeting service targets and statutory obligations.

Act as the first point of contact for enquiries regarding the statutory Education, Health, and Care (EHC) processes.

Gather, process, and update case information in relevant databases, assisting in monitoring and tracking progress.

Promote effective teamwork and contribute to service improvement.
To succeed in this role, you will need:

GCSE Grade C or above in English and Maths (or equivalent).

NVQ Level 3 in Advice and Guidance or equivalent relevant experience.

A strong working knowledge of the Children & Families Act 2014 and the SEND Code of Practice.
