Duties
- Greet customers warmly and identify their furniture needs through active listening and engaging conversation
- Demonstrate product features, styles, and benefits to inspire confidence and excitement in buyers
- Negotiate prices and terms effectively to close sales while ensuring customer satisfaction
- Assist customers in selecting suitable furniture pieces based on their preferences, space, and budget
- Manage multiple customer interactions efficiently, ensuring timely follow-up and smooth sales processes
- Maintain organized product displays and keep the sales floor tidy to enhance shopping experience
- Utilize IT systems to process transactions accurately, update inventory records, and track sales performance
Requirements
- Strong negotiation skills with a focus on achieving mutually beneficial outcomes
- Valid driving license preferred for local deliveries or store visits as needed
- Experience in B2C (business-to-customer) sales or retail sales is advantageous
- Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
- Excellent communication skills in English; ability to explain product details clearly and confidently
- Basic IT literacy for operating point-of-sale systems and inventory management software
- Effective time management and organizational skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently
- Passion for furniture design, interior styling, or home decor is a plus but not required
