A great opportunity has arisen in our warm and friendly expanding day opportunities & short term break service based in Clacton-on-Sea. The opportunity is for a driven, highly motivated, compassionate and experienced Registered Manager to join the team, working in an environment where no day is the same.
PURPOSE OF THE JOB
Have a commitment to Jenny’s day opportunities and short term breaks and oversee the service. Maintain professional standards in social care and facilitate the operation of the day to day functions of the service to the satisfaction of the Managing Director, the Statutory Authorities and in the best interests of those we support.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Experience of management in health and social care.
- Experience of working with adults with disabilities.
- Diploma or NVQ Level 5 in Health & Social Care Management.
- Previous experience of conducting a registered managers role.
- Excellent working knowledge of current CQC compliant policies and procedures.
- Team player with excellent communication skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work on own initiative.
- Ability to work extra hours or weekends on occasion.
- Good understanding of the regulatory responsibilities of a Registered Manager.
- Clean DBS.
- Driving License for manual vehicles.
PAY:
£50,000
HOLIDAY ENTITLEMENT:
28 days, rising with length of service
