Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organised Accounts Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts payable, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. Sage is essential for this role. Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial records using Sage 50 accounting software
- Process accounts payable and receivable
- Reconcile bank statements and financial data
- Prepare financial reports for management review
- Assist with payroll processing
- Inter-company transactions and reconciliation
- Monitor cash flow and financial transactions
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role
- Proficiency in using Sage 50 accounting software,
- Strong understanding of accounts payable processes
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
Person Specification and Key Requirements
-Sage Experience - 2 years or more (Essential)
-Accounting - 2 years or more (Essential)
-Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
-Ability to work to tight deadlines and under pressure, ability to to manage own workload -and prioritise effectively
-Experience of working within a team
-Experience of working with confidential information, demonstrating a high level of discretion
Salary & Benefits
Contract: Permanent, Full Time
Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Location: Office Based, in person, Salford, Manchester.
Annual Leave: 28 days per annum, including Bank holidays.
Free onsite parking.
