Programme overview:
Our 2027 Summer Internship Programme runs for 10 weeks, starting on Monday 14 June 2027 and finishing on Friday 20 August 2027. This internship is designed to give you a unique introduction to the asset and wealth management industry and offers valuable insight into how your chosen department operates within Schroders.

Finance at Schroders is about much more than numbers. It gives you a unique view of how a global asset manager operates – from financial control and regulatory reporting, to partnering with senior leaders to drive strategic, commercial decision making. As a Finance intern, you’ll work with teams that help the business make informed decisions, manage risk, and deliver sustainable growth.
This internship is best suited to candidates who are genuinely interested in building a career in Finance. While you’ll gain exposure to the wider asset management industry, the role is not an investment management or client-facing internship.
We’re looking for proactive, curious and motivated interns who are excited by the opportunity to understand how Finance supports a global investment management business. You’ll enjoy working with numbers, asking thoughtful questions, building relationships across teams and communicating your ideas clearly. We value people who take ownership, are willing to get stuck in, and bring enthusiasm and energy to new challenges.
Required skills and capabilities:
Comfortable using Excel, PowerPoint and Word, with willingness to develop technical and AI skills further

Our activities span three key pillars: Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), Operations, and Control, delivered through finance hubs in the UK, Luxembourg, and Singapore, as well as local teams in other regions.
What you’ll get involved in:
During the internship, you may support work across financial planning and analysis, finance operations, regulatory reporting, control activities and business partnering. This could include analysing financial information, preparing presentations, supporting reporting processes, improving ways of working, and collaborating with colleagues across Finance and the wider business.
Knowledge, experience and qualifications we’re looking for:
A good working knowledge of document production software, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
