Recruitment & Talent Partner
Boston, Lincolnshire
Competitive
Full-time | Permanent | On-site
Are you a recruiter who wants the opportunity to actually make a difference rather than just fill vacancies?
VM Talent Solutions is representing a fantastic food business in Boston, Lincolnshire, and I’m looking for an experienced Recruitment & Talent Partner to join their People team.
This is a really exciting opportunity because you will be the dedicated recruiter within the business.
You'll have the opportunity to take real ownership of recruitment, bring your own ideas, challenge how things are currently done and help shape the recruitment strategy going forward.
The biggest focus will be high-volume operational recruitment, including roles across Production, Warehouse, Drivers and Butchery, but you'll also recruit a variety of professional and office-based positions across the wider business.
So if you love recruitment, enjoy being busy and want a role where you can genuinely put your stamp on things – this could be a great one!
What you'll be doing:
- Managing recruitment end to end across the business
- Leading high-volume operational recruitment campaigns
- Recruiting professional and office-based roles too
- Partnering directly with Hiring Managers
- Proactively sourcing rather than simply relying on applications
- Screening and telephone interviewing candidates
- Building talent pools for recurring and difficult-to-fill roles
- Taking ownership of the ATS and helping Hiring Managers get the most from it
- Developing new attraction ideas and recruitment campaigns
- Working with Marketing on employer branding
- Using recruitment data to understand what's working – and what isn't
- Looking at ways to improve recruitment processes and reduce agency spend
You'll have real scope to move recruitment forward.
They're looking for someone who can come in with ideas, look at their current recruitment methods and say:
“We could do this better.”
Whether that's improving candidate attraction, building local talent pipelines, changing how vacancies are advertised, improving the ATS or developing stronger relationships with Hiring Managers – you'll have the opportunity to make recruitment your own.
What am I looking for?
Someone who genuinely loves recruitment and isn't afraid to get stuck in!
Ideally, you'll have experience recruiting high-volume operational roles, particularly within food manufacturing, manufacturing, logistics, warehousing or distribution.
You'll also need to be comfortable recruiting across different functions and levels.
You'll be organised, proactive, confident with Hiring Managers and, most importantly, full of ideas.
If you're currently working in an agency and would love to move in-house, or you're already in-house but want more ownership and autonomy, I would absolutely love to hear from you.
