Experienced Roofer / Roofing Finisher

Allmighty Roofing is looking for a highly experienced and competent roofer to join our team on a permanent basis.
We carry out high-quality domestic and commercial roofing projects across Cheshire and the surrounding areas and are looking for someone who can work confidently across pitched and flat roofing systems and consistently produce a high standard of finished work.
This position is for an experienced roofer/finisher and is not suitable for improvers or applicants who require regular supervision.
The Role
You will be working on a variety of domestic and commercial roofing projects, including:
- Pitched roof replacements
- Tiling and slating
- Flat roofing
- Liquid-applied GRP roofing systems
- EPDM roofing systems
- Leadwork and detailed lead finishing
- Warm roof installations
- Vapour control layers and insulation
- Roof repairs and associated roofing works
- Roofline and finishing works
You must be capable of carrying out roofing work correctly and neatly and have a good understanding of relevant British Standards, manufacturer specifications and correct installation practices.
What We’re Looking For
The successful applicant must be a competent roofer and finisher who takes pride in their work.
You should be able to assess the work in front of you, understand what is required and complete it to a professional standard without requiring constant supervision.
Essential Requirements
- Minimum 5 years’ proven roofing experience
- Strong pitched roofing experience
- Strong flat roofing experience
- Experience installing liquid GRP roofing systems
- Competent in leadwork and lead detailing
- Confident with tiling and slating
- Excellent finishing standards and attention to detail
- Understanding of relevant British Standards
- Ability to follow specifications and manufacturers’ installation requirements
- Full UK driving licence
- Reliable and punctual
- Professional attitude towards customers and other contractors
- Ability to keep sites clean, organised and presentable
- Able to reliably commute to our Frodsham yard each morning
Preferred
- NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Roofing Occupations
- CSCS Card
- Liquid roofing manufacturer training/accreditation
- Commercial roofing experience
- Experience working from roofing specifications and drawings
Additional manufacturer and industry training can be provided.
