Rate of Pay: £14.00 per hour starting.
We are seeking an enthusiastic, organised, and dedicated Before & After School Club Manager to lead our busy and thriving childcare provision.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone with previous management or leadership experience who is passionate about providing high-quality care and engaging activities for children aged Reception to Year 6.
About the Role
As Club Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the provision, ensuring a safe, welcoming, and stimulating environment for all children. You will lead a team of staff, oversee planning and activities, maintain high standards of care, and build positive relationships with children, families, and school staff.
The role includes supervising a variety of fun and engaging indoor and outdoor activities that support children's social, emotional, and physical development.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the daily operation of the Before and After School Club.
- Lead, support, and motivate staff to deliver high-quality childcare.
- Ensure the safety, wellbeing, and inclusion of all children attending the club.
- Plan and oversee engaging indoor and outdoor play opportunities.
- Maintain accurate records and comply with all policies and procedures.
- Build positive relationships with children, parents, carers, and school staff.
- Ensure safeguarding and child protection procedures are always followed.
- Promote a positive, nurturing, and inclusive environment.
Essential Requirements
- Previous management, supervisory, or leadership experience.
- Experience working with children in a childcare, playwork, or educational setting.
- Excellent understanding of safeguarding and child protection.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to work independently and lead a team effectively.
- A positive, caring, and professional attitude.
