Overview:
We are preferably seeking a skilled and dedicated Gardener to join our team, however full training can also be provided to those with less experience. As a Gardener, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the appearance of our outdoor spaces. If you have a passion for gardening and enjoy working outdoors, we would love to hear from you. Ideally looking for someone full time, initially until November, however part time hours can also be agreed for the right candidate.
Duties:
- Perform landscape maintenance tasks such as mowing, trimming, and edging lawns
- Plant, water, and care for flowers, shrubs, and trees
- Weed garden beds to maintain a clean and tidy appearance
- Prune and trim trees and shrubs to promote healthy growth at appropriate times
- Operate hand tools such as shovels, rakes, pruners, and shears
- Utilize power tools such as lawn mowers, trimmers, and leaf blowers
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in landscape maintenance or groundskeeping preferred, however full training can be provided
- Due to varying starting locations, drivers licence and transport essential.
- Knowledge of various hand tools used in gardening
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting heavy objects and working in various weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
