Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Cleaning Operative to join our professional cleaning team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in welfare cabins across 2 sites. The position suitable for organised, reliable individuals committed to delivering exceptional service.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of welfare cabins on a building site, including office, toilets, canteen and meeting room.
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust and damp wipe designated areas to ensure cleanliness and safety standards are met
- Clean and sanitise washrooms, kitchens, and communal areas.
- Follow health and safety procedures at all times to maintain a safe working environment
- Cabins at S12 3BN are to be cleaned twice a week and takes 2-3 hours per visit.
- Cabins at S10 1QL are to be cleaned once a week and takes 2-3 hours per visit.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality standards
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team
- Good organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
- Ability to work efficiently within allocated timeframes
- A positive attitude and commitment to maintaining high standards of hygiene and cleanliness
- Having access to a car would be beneficial (not essential) as the 2 sites are 30 mins apart (travel time will be paid).
- Must be able to travel to S12 3BN and S10 1QL.
Pay: From £14.00 per hour
