Activities Coordinator – Full Time
Are you full of ideas, happy to get stuck in and not afraid of a little organised chaos?
We are looking for an enthusiastic, creative and caring Activities Coordinator to join our team and work alongside our current Activities Coordinator.
This is a full-time 35hr per week role, working 5 days over a 7-day week, so weekend working will be part of the job.
Our residents are at the heart of what we do, and we are looking for someone who can bring fun, energy and plenty of ideas to their days. This isn't a role where you'll be sitting behind a desk all day – one minute you could be organising an outing, the next running a quiz, getting creative, turning the music up or simply sitting down for a chat and a cuppa.
You'll work alongside our current Activities Coordinator to plan a varied programme of activities, events and outings. An important part of the role is helping our residents to be involved and included within the local community.
And when some residents are off out having adventures, you'll make sure those staying at home aren't forgotten! Whether it's games, music, crafts, a themed afternoon or something completely different. We want someone who can keep things interesting and make sure everyone has the opportunity to join in.

- Can adapt activities to suit different interests, needs and abilities
- Understand that sometimes one-to-one time and a good chat can be just as important as a big group activity
- Can encourage people to join in without forcing the fun!
- Work well as part of a team
Previous experience in an activities role would be great, but we're just as interested in finding the right person with the right personality, attitude and enthusiasm.
