We are seeking a passionate and experienced Head Chef to lead our talented culinary team at Radstone Hotel. Reporting to the Senior Head Chef, you will play a key role in overseeing the day-to-day operation of the kitchen and delivering exceptional dining experiences across the hotel, with a particular focus on weddings, events, and busy functions.

- Lead the day-to-day operation of the kitchen, ensuring consistently high standards across all food outlets, weddings, events, and functions.
- Work closely with the Senior Head Chef to deliver the hotel’s culinary standards and vision.
- Lead, motivate, and develop the kitchen team, creating a positive and high-performing working environment.
- Ensure consistently high standards of food quality, presentation, taste, and service.
- Manage food purchasing, stock control, food costs, GP performance, and waste effectively.
- Oversee kitchen preparation and service, ensuring the team is fully organised and prepared to deliver a smooth operation.
- Support recruitment, training, development, and performance management within the kitchen team.
- Ensure all food safety, hygiene, allergen, cleanliness, and compliance standards are maintained.
- Work closely with the wider hotel management team to support operational efficiency and deliver exceptional guest experiences.
- Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and excellence within the kitchen.

- Proven experience as a Head Chef or experienced Senior Sous Chef within a quality-focused hotel, restaurant, or events environment.
- A passionate and creative chef with a strong focus on quality and presentation.
- A confident, hands-on leadership style with the ability to motivate, develop, and inspire a kitchen team.
- Proven experience in menu development, planning, recruitment, training, and kitchen management.
- Strong knowledge of food costing, stock control, purchasing, and kitchen budgets.
- Excellent organisational and planning skills, with strong attention to detail.
- The ability to remain calm and effective under pressure while maintaining high standards.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with colleagues at all levels.
