Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Tractor Driver to operate agricultural and construction machinery on-site. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely manoeuvring tractors to support various projects, ensuring efficient operations across the site. Previous experience in commercial driving and mechanical knowledge are highly desirable, along with familiarity with excavators. Responsibilities
- Operate tractors and associated machinery safely and efficiently across designated areas.
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance checks on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Assist with loading and unloading materials, utilising excavators when necessary.
- Follow health and safety protocols at all times to minimise risk of accidents or injuries.
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate tasks and meet project deadlines.
- Maintain accurate records of operational activities and equipment usage.
- Report any mechanical issues or safety concerns promptly to management.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in commercial driving, particularly operating tractors or similar agricultural/industrial machinery.
- Mechanical knowledge relevant to maintaining and troubleshooting tractor equipment.
- Familiarity with operating excavators is preferred but not essential.
- Valid driving licence suitable for operating heavy machinery (e.g., tractor licence).
- Strong understanding of health and safety regulations related to machinery operation.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in outdoor environments.
