Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Supervisor to join our team at Salthouse Tapas Chester. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring that our standards of food safety and quality are met while fostering a positive environment for both staff and guests. This role is essential in maintaining the high standards of service that our establishment is known for.
Duties
· Familiar with health & safety, employment and compliance policies.
· Familiar with all aspects of running a business, including customer service skills, financial management including cash up, E.O.D, inventory management skills and customer relations skills.
· Liaise with all departments and ensure both front and back of house coordinate and collaborate well even during busy periods.
· Ensuring all employees always follow company policies and procedures
· Supervising and managing staff and shifts.
· Ensuring good customer satisfaction and handling any complaints
· Ensuring food and drinks served are of high quality and service is consistent
· Able to open and close the premises.
Qualifications
- Either proven experience in a supervisory role within the culinary or hospitality industry, particularly in restaurants or hotels or a passion in hospitality and determination to take the next step into a management role.
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in culinary operations.
- Excellent team management skills with the ability to motivate and guide staff effectively.
- Experience in bartending is highly desirable, with a passion for delivering exceptional service.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer service excellence.
