Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and specialty beverages with precision and flair
- Assist in food preparation, including assembling sandwiches, salads, and snacks according to safety standards
- Maintain food safety protocols by adhering to hygiene regulations and cleanliness standards at all times
- Provide excellent customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and ensuring guest satisfaction
- Manage cash register operations with accuracy using basic math skills for transactions and change handling
- Keep the workspace clean and organized, including cleaning equipment and sanitizing surfaces regularly
- Support team members during busy periods by efficiently managing multiple tasks and time effectively
Qualifications
- Previous barista experience is preferred but not mandatory; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are essential
- Knowledge of food safety standards and practices to ensure safe handling of food and beverages
- Experience in serving customers in a fast-paced environment demonstrating excellent communication skills
