About the Role
We are a new and growing café in Oxted looking for a reliable, skilled, and motivated chef to join our kitchen team 2 days a week on Monday and Tuesday, with potential to add in further shifts as we grow.
You’ll work alongside another chef on a rota, helping to deliver high-quality food and maintain a well-run, organised kitchen. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working independently and wants to be part of building something from the ground up.
Key Responsibilities
- Run kitchen shifts independently
- Prepare and deliver consistent, high-quality café-style food
- Maintain food hygiene and cleanliness standards
- Support stock management and kitchen organisation
- Contribute ideas to menu development
- Assist with occasional catering and events
- Open and close the kitchen
Requirements
- Ability to handle a service independently
- A genuine passion for food, ingredients, and cooking
- Strong organisation and reliability
- Positive attitude and team mindset
- Food hygiene certification
