We are seeking a Learning and Community Manager to develop and maintain our learning and volunteer programmes, maintaining excellent customer satisfaction for sessions and workshops, whilst providing an enjoyable and mutually beneficial experience for our volunteers.
As our Learning and Community Manager, you will be expected to lead the small team, whilst also enhancing existing sessions and developing new ones. You will be an active member of our Senior Management Team and will be proactive in embrace opportunities across the site.
You’ll bring knowledge of the National Curriculum with a keen interest in making innovative sessions the core of our offer for young learners and students. For adults, you’ll be building and promoting a range of traditional skills and art workshops. Alongside this, you will be responsible for developing Norton Priory’s volunteer programme, working with the team to identify volunteering opportunities and growing the number of active volunteers.
You’ll be a positive person who is keen to make a difference and to find new ways to share Norton Priory’s heritage with our audiences. This role brings opportunities to work as part of the museum's Senior Management Team and to use our indoor and outside spaces to provide a backdrop to learning and volunteering opportunities with a difference.
