Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment to load, unload, and transport materials
- Assist with shipping and receiving processes,
- Conduct routine equipment repairs or report maintenance needs promptly to ensure operational efficiency
- Handle materials carefully, ensuring proper storage and organization within the warehouse
- Perform heavy lifting tasks safely and efficiently to support daily operations
- Support warehouse management with location scanning of recieved freight.
Skills
- Proven experience working in a warehouse environment with familiarity in materials handling
- Valid forklift certification and mechanical knowledge for equipment operation
- Ability to load & unload goods accurately while adhering to safety protocols
- Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying shipments
- Knowledge of shipping & receiving procedures to ensure timely processing of goods
- Physical stamina for heavy lifting and standing for extended periods
